Utilidad de las ondas F en el diagnóstico de radiculopatía

Resumen

Las ondas F son respuestas tardías fácilmente obtenibles y reproducibles, que pueden contribuir al diagnostico de radiculopatias. Existen unos nueve parámetros que se pueden evaluar de las ondas F y no solamente la latencia mínima, con lo cual la precisión diagnostica se puede mejorar. En el presente artículo se revisaran los conceptos fisiológicos básicos de las ondas F, así como la bibliografía a favor y en contra de la utilidad de esta prueba para complementar el diagnostico electrofisiológico de radiculopatia.
